Opportunity:

RN - CCU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
• Must be comfortable floating between multiple units including ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST
• Cross-training required for multi-unit coverage
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units required
• Critical care experience required
• Current New York State RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through AHA or RQI system), NIHSS
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
• Preferred certifications: Emergency Nurses Association certification within 2 years, TNCC within 2 years
• Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred
• Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with Healing Environment principles
