Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend
• 13-week contract duration
• No on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS
• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology and hold advanced registry in Computed Tomography
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
• Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations
• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations
• Review clinical data, analyze anatomical structure, set up equipment and perform CT scans
• Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors and monitor patients for reactions
• Assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
• Complete all PACS and RIS documentation including study indexing and image delivery
• Demonstrate radiation protection principles and ALARA techniques
• Procedure experience preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills including communication, teamwork, and respect
• Interview conducted via MS Teams
