Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week with start times of 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM as assigned
• Required to work 4 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) during 13-week assignment
• Call responsibilities with 30-minute response time required
• Holiday call requirements apply
• May be floated to EP/IR departments as needed
• Minimum 3 years cath lab experience required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate STEMI procedures
• Must be willing to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional for call
• Experience with high risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing required
• Job duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in 6 catheterization lab suites
• Handle approximately 18 cases per day on average
• Work with coronary and neuro patients, including high risk coronary cases
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT RT-R, BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• Illinois license required
• Work with Epic/McKesson systems
• Scrubs provided by facility
• 5 shifts of unit-specific orientation during first week
• Must pass negative drug screen for all panels
