• Patient Population: Adult inpatient

• Setting: Hospital

• Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient hospitalist care during night shifts

  • No required procedures

  • Manage rapid response and code situations

  • Work alongside ICU providers who handle ICU cases

  • Average census: 15-18 patients per physician per night

  • Work with APPs as part of the team

• Required Procedures: None

• EMR System: Not specified

• Support Staff: ICU providers, APPs, and hospital team

• Days Per Month: 14 (7 on/7 off)

• On-Call/Weekends: No on-call duties, weekend shifts as per schedule

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine REQUIRED

• New York License (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED

• DEA (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED

• Clean Malpractice/License HIGHLY PREFERRED

• Does the provider require visa support (J1 or H1B)? REQUIRED

• Note: Client cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.
