Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department role requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a valid NM or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Night shifts are 3x12 hours, typically from 19:00 to 07:30
• Option of working either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends are required as part of the schedule
• Floating to other units is required
• Charge ER responsibilities are included
• EPIC charting experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• No travel pairs or groups are permitted
• Maximum of three days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved
• No RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
• 1-2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• EPIC experience preferred but not mandatory
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
