Outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R)/Physiatrist Äì EMG/NCS Focused Opportunity in Elmira, NYJob Summary: We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R)/Physiatrist with expertise in electromyography (EMG/NCS) to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Elmira, New York. This is a full-time hospital-employed position offering the opportunity to practice outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), with a strong focus on diagnostic EMG/NCS services.Nestled in the scenic Finger Lakes region, Elmira offers a low cost of living, excellent schools, outdoor recreation, and a family-friendly atmosphere. - Join an integrated team of specialists in orthopedics, neurology, pain management, and rehabilitation.
- Perform and interpret EMGs and nerve conduction studies (NCS) as part of a comprehensive diagnostic service.
- Provide specialized care in outpatient musculoskeletal medicine, focusing on physical rehabilitation.
- Diagnose and treat patients with injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions affecting musculoskeletal health including procedures such as injections.
- Collaborate with musculoskeletal, primary care, surgical, and neurological teams to guide patient care.
- Access to advanced diagnostic tools and support staff.
- Opportunity to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents through our academic affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).
- Monday ÄìFriday outpatient schedule. Candidate Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification/Eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Fellowship training or significant clinical experience in EMG/NCV required.
- Current or eligible NY State medical license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Competitive guaranteed salary: $340,000-$380,000, depending on experience.
