Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and engaged Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. The unit offers a total of 34 beds with the capacity for 43 patients and specializes in stroke and neuro care. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, providing high-quality care to patients on a general medical-surgical floor.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and report any changes.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Assist in implementing individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records using the Meditech EMR system.
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
- Experience in a medical-surgical unit or with stroke/neuro patients is highly desirable.
