Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department assignment in Washington, requiring BLS, ACLS, and five years of ER nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units as needed within scope
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Block scheduling may be discussed during interview
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- RNs are supported to complete required modules in the first 16 hours of orientation
- Local candidates are accepted
- Travel pairs are accepted
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required prior to start
- Minimum five years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- Completion of modules during orientation is required
