Emergency Medicine Physician Job Details
- Location: Chattanooga, TN
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens physician contract
- Duration: 12-week emergency medicine assignment
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (day or night; flexible scheduling)
- Hours per Week: 36
Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active and unrestricted physician license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Stabilize and manage acute medical emergencies and trauma cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient encounters and clinical procedures
