Locum role with float-pool coverage in a major Minneapolis-area hospital. Cardiovascular Surgeon, locum tenens; M-F 7a-5p with 1-in-3 call weeks (day, overnight 5p-7a, weekend 24hr); start ASAP; Minneapolis area; hospital-based; predominantly routine CABG/valve cases with advanced cardiac procedures. - MN medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
- Cardiac/cardiothoracic surgery experience (procedures listed)
- Experience with CABG and valve surgery
- Comfortable with on-call rotations including overnights and weekends
- Ability to manage advanced procedures (TAVR, LVAD, transplant)

Hospital is seeking Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide float pool coverage starting ASAP
- M-F 7a-5p
- 1 in 3 call week rotation
- Call weeks include day shift, overnight (5p-7a) and weekend 24 call
- Predominately Routine Cases - CABs, Valves etc.
- CABs/Valves/etc: 250
Standbys:
- TAVR: 200
- Clips: 100
- Lead extractions: 35
Procedures include:
- Aortic aneurysms
- Aortic dissections
- Atrial fibrillation surgery
- Cardiac valve repair and replacement
- Carotid endarterectomy
- Congenital heart surgery
- Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Esophageal surgery (minimally invasive)
- Heart failure surgery
- Heart transplant surgery
- Left ventricular assist device (LVAD) surgery
- Lung surgery
- Minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery
- Thoracoscopic surgery
- Required: MN license or IMLC
