A well-established hospital in Michigan is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support its expanding CVICU team. This is a great opportunity for providers who are confident working autonomously in high-acuity settings and are looking for a longer-term locum commitment.

Assignment Details:

• Start: ASAP December 2025 (with potential extension)

• Shifts: 12-hour day/night shifts or 24-hour shifts (based on preference)

• Call:No call required

• Setting: Hospital-based CVICU Level II Trauma Center

• Census: Daily census of 9 patients

• EMR: EPIC

️ Responsibilities Include:

• Autonomous patient management in CVICU

• Placement of central venous and dialysis catheters

• Arterial line placements

• Chest tube insertions

• Adult-only patient population (18+)

• MD on-site during day; available by phone during nights

• Flight, hotel, and rental car provided

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements:

• Board Certified (AANP or NCCPA) Required

• BLS & ACLS Required

• MI License Highly preferred (willing to consider those in process)

• Acute Care trained and certified Required

• Must be experienced and confident working independently
