The Podiatric Medicine Physician provides specialized medical care for foot and ankle conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a rural Indian Health Facility. The role requires diagnosing, treating, and managing various podiatric conditions while adhering to Indian Health Service standards. Candidates must hold a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, have completed an accredited residency, possess a valid podiatry license, and be board certified or qualified in foot and ankle surgery.
- Work Dates Needed: 2026 Start date TBD, estimated at March 2026, goes for a full year with Four additional option years (thru 2031)
- Preferred Schedule: 40 Hrs per week, M-F 8a-5p; One Hr lunch break, no weekends, no Federal Holidays
- Worksite Setting: Rural Indian Health Facility
- Scope of Work: Provide consultative and direct podiatric medical services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Diagnose, treat and manage foot and ankle conditions. Deliver care aligned with IHS standards. More details below
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Doctor of Podiatric medicine degree; Graduate of an accredited School of Podiatric Medicine; Completion of a CPME accredited residency program; Active unrestricted Podiatry license in any US State (in good standing, no restrictions); Board Certified or Board Qualified through the American Bd of Foot and Ankle Surgery; Current BLS thru American Heart Assoc or equivalent
