Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Unit: Pre-Operative (Pre-Op)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op RN experience within specialty

Licensure & Certifications:

• BLS required

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required

• ACLS required

Position Overview:
The Pre-Operative RN is responsible for preparing patients for surgical and procedural interventions. This includes pre-procedure assessments, patient education, medication administration, and coordination with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient readiness and safety.
