The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Key duties include preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and facility support to ensure optimal production efficiency. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience, technical skills in PLCs and hydraulics, and the ability to work independently in demanding conditions.
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Atlanta area. You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial electrical and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate ensures maximum production efficiency and safety by maintaining machinery and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (including PLCs, motors, sensors, and conveyors).
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks on production machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Installation: Install and set up new industrial machinery, including fabrication, welding (MIG/TIG), and plumbing as needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, OSHA standards) and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history using CMMS software.
- Facility Support: Monitor and maintain general facility systems, including HVAC, lighting, and powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical schematics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions (noise, temperature changes).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a 24/7 team.
