Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with craniotomy and burr hole experience for a day shift position in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Main Operating Room of an acute care hospital
- Cases include neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma surgeries
- Craniotomy and burr hole procedures are regularly performed
- Day shifts, Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm (3x12 hours)
- Late days and call coverage required as needed
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Provide perioperative care for neuro, spine, ortho/trauma, and robotic surgery cases
- Documentation of all required certifications must be available for consideration
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures required
- Operating Room nursing experience required
- Two supervisory references from the last three years
