Work with multiple long-term care facilities across NC providing continuity for elderly patients. Perm Physician (Family/Internal/Geriatric) providing primary care in Assisted Living & SNFs across North Carolina. Full-time permanent role, on-call triage availability 7AM–7PM on scheduled days; travel throughout NC; ongoing assignment. - MD or DO - ≥3 years LTC/geriatric care experience - Ability to manage meds, EMR, HIPAA and CPT guidelines - On-call availability by phone/text 7AM–7PM on scheduled days - AMDA certification preferred

Seeking a locum Family, Internal or Geriatric Medicine physician to care for adults who reside in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities --Provide primary-care services consistent with the standard of care for the specialty of family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine as it pertains to long term care facility work. --Manage all Scheduled medication prescriptions specific to your facility?s patients and specialty --Work with facility to manage systems --Provide OnCall triage duties - all providers are expected to be available to their facilities between the hours of 7 AM and 7PM by text or phone on the scheduled days of work. Triage Policies and OnCall duties and scheduling will be modified as needed and all providers are expected to adhere to the newest agreed upon triage schedule. --Establish and maintain open and positive communications with facility staff and administration --Always maintain patient confidentiality at all times including appropriate use of Cell phone, emails text messaging, patient charts and EMR - abide by and be knowledgeable of HIPAA rules and regulations and CPT coding guidelines Required: MD or DO + 3 years? experience with Long Term Care/Geriatric Care; AMDA Certified a plus but not mandatory
