Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring a WV or compact license and strong medical-surgical background.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a hospital Medical Surgical unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00pm-7:30am on both weekdays and weekends
• Patient assignment ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• Cerner EMR is used on this unit
• Scrubs are not provided and must be supplied by the RN
• The unit will attempt to honor schedule requests but cannot guarantee blocked schedules
• Excessive call-offs (more than 2-3 per contract) are not tolerated
• References and employment verification may be required for consideration

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• No previous travel experience required
