Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Stroke unit night shift position requiring an AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on the 5 North Heart/Stroke unit in a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Primary patient population includes heart and stroke cases
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no distance restrictions
• Cardiac exam link provided and required after offer acceptance
• No HealthStream modules required before start
• Dress code and holiday requirements not specified

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license with no current or past disciplinary actions
• At least 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• No pending or temporary licenses accepted
• Current resume and suitable references required for consideration
