Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant with at least 1 year of experience to support our facility in Kellogg. In this role, you'll provide essential therapy services, helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers a day shift schedule, guaranteed 40 hours weekly, and an attractive rate of up to $1,950 per week based on experience. Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) experience
- Proficiency in providing therapy interventions according to patient needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) settings; flexibility on this requirement
- Positive personality with a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with rehabilitation software and documentation
Preferred Education and Experience
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in Idaho or the ability to obtain
- At least 6 months of LTC experience preferred, but candidates with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Other Requirements
- No floating staffing responsibilities
- No on-call or callback duties
- Ability to commit to the schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- No opportunity for overtime; however, 40 hours are guaranteed each week
- No housing provided; local candidates preferred or those willing to commute
