We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join an established healthcare team for a locum tenens position near Haynesville, Virginia. Job Highlights:

- Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 11 patients per day
- Call Requirements: On-site call coverage, including labor and delivery support, ER consultations, and floor consults
- Support: Full hospital nursing support, EMR (eCW for outpatient, Meditech for inpatient)
Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Rounding: Provide consistent on-site care for laboring and triaged OB patients.
- Delivery & Procedures: Manage scheduled inductions, deliveries, and emergent procedures as needed.
- Consultations: Respond to ER and floor consults and be available by phone for emergent inquiries from hospital staff or partnering clinicians.
- Trauma Call: Respond to obstetric emergencies as required, supporting patient needs comprehensively.
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certification/Eligibility: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licensing: Current Virginia medical license required
- DEA Certification: Valid DEA registration
- Experience with EMR Systems: Familiarity with eCW (outpatient) and Meditech (inpatient) preferred; orientation can be provided if needed
