We are seeking a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Emergency Medicine experience for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This opportunity begins Jan 26, 2026, and offers 10-hour midlevel shifts from 11 AM to 9 PM, with supportive physician presence and a dynamic emergency department setting. Job Details Location: Michigan Start Date: Jan 26, 2026 Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Emergency Medicine Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 11 AM 9 PM; assignment dates: Jan 26, 2026 Mar 6, 2026 Responsibilities and Duties Deliver autonomous anesthesia care in the Emergency Department with physician supervision available for consultation Manage an average patient volume of 20 per day in a 25-bed provisional Level 4 trauma emergency department Respond to a range of emergency cases, including patients over 20 weeks gestation with abdominal complaints and trauma cases Participate in ED responses to house codes and provide support for various emergency procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedic, OB, general surgery, neurology, and urology consultants Coordinate with radiology, laboratory, and surgical services available 24/7 Perform EKG interpretation support with ED physicians and cardiologists Additional Information Michigan license required at time of name clear; IMLC not accepted National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Must have a clean background for credentialing DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear) Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
