Schedule4 days per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with additional weekday call shifts and weekend call every 5 weeks. Flexibility with the schedule is required.
Job DescriptionThe Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced surgical environment specializing in cardiovascular and open heart procedures. Nurses are expected to scrub and circulate during surgeries, and may float to other surgical suites as needed.
Responsibilities- Scrub and circulate in cardiovascular and open heart surgeries.
- Respond to patient care needs during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Be flexible to float to other operating room suites when necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience with high competency in Cardio Vascular / Open Heart OR.
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
- Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.
- Experience in large, academic, teaching hospital settings is required.
