Travel Nursing Job Details

• Unit: Medical-Surgical Telemetry, Float Pool
• Job Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (weekends and holidays required)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470 - $2540

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam (Dysrhythmia and Medication tests; 85% passing score, one attempt only)
• Documented professional development activities
• Knowledge of Critical Paths in clinical care
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• No local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
• Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in any capacity within the last six months

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required nursing certifications
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
