Key Details Location: Near San Francisco, CA Schedule: Regular day shifts (7 AM 5 PM or 8 AM 5 PM) 5-10 days of coverage needed per month Includes night call with a 30-minute response time Start Date: March 10, 2025 End Date: Ongoing Setting: Inpatient focus, no outpatient responsibilities Call Coverage: Beeper call, with some call-back responsibilities Practice Overview Patients Per Shift: 5-10 Procedures: Upper GI Endoscopy Colonoscopy (with biopsy and excision of polyps) Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy ERCP preferred but not required Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) Small bowel biopsy Liver biopsy Support: Advanced Practice Providers (NP) handle follow-ups for findings during screenings. Requirements Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology Active California medical license required Proficiency in procedural sedation is necessary Credentialing timeframe: 6-8 weeks for a clean file Facility Information Trauma Level: Level 3 EMR System: Epic Temporary privileges are not available, so prior credentialing is required.
