Who You Are Board certified (BC) or board-eligible (BE) in Emergency Medicine by the ABEM, AOBEM, or ABIM (with ED experience). If board-eligible, you must be committed to obtaining board certification within five years. New York medical license is mandatory. You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a high volume of patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Experience working in a four-pod system is a plus. Additional Information This is a full-time, independent contractor position with comprehensive professional liability coverage. We are seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine physicians or new graduates with ABEM/AOBEM certification only. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians must have prior experience in high-volume emergency departments. Our very busy ED sees 2-3 patients per hour and offers a Fast Track for non-critical cases. Physician staffing includes 68 physician hours and 39 APC hours, subject to change with patient volumes.
