This part-time position involves performing Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) evaluations and Compensation & Pension exams for veterans in Pensacola, FL, and Mobile, AL, alternating weekly. The role is suited for neurologists, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, or psychiatrists, offering both in-person and telehealth services. The evaluator must maintain detailed documentation and provide compassionate care while adapting to fluctuating exam volumes and schedules.
Job Title: Part-Time TBI Evaluator (Veteran Services)Location: Pensacola, FL & Mobile, AL (Alternating Weekly)Schedule: Part-Time, One Day Per WeekCompensation: Competitive Daily Rate (to be discussed during the interview)Job Summary:We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Evaluator to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for veterans. This part-time role involves alternating weekly between Pensacola, FL, and Mobile, AL, with flexibility to adjust based on exam volume. The role is ideal for a Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, Physiatrist (PM&R), or Psychiatrist committed to providing high-quality care to veterans.Key Responsibilities:Perform thorough TBI evaluations and C&P exams for veterans.Alternate weekly between Pensacola, FL, and Mobile, AL (FL/AL/FL/AL schedule).Adapt schedule and location based on fluctuating volume needs.Provide Telehealth (TH) evaluations when applicable.Document all findings accurately and submit reports promptly.Maintain a high standard of professionalism and compassion while serving the veteran community.Requirements:MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry.Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida and Alabama.Prior experience with C&P exams (preferred but not required).Telehealth-capable with reliable technology setup.Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Flexibility to adapt to changing site volumes and schedules.Benefits:Competitive compensation.Flexible scheduling with one dedicated day per week.Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans.Exposure to both in-person and telehealth evaluation methods.Join our mission to support the veteran community with your expertise and dedication.
