Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospital Medicine Night Shift Findlay, Ohio

Core Clinical Partners is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospital medicine team at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. This role provides a night-shift environment with shared responsibilities alongside the nocturnist and access to strong onsite clinical support.

Hospitalist Team Structure

• Physician Coverage:
  • 5 daytime physicians
  • 1 dedicated nocturnist
• APP Coverage:
  • 2 daytime APPs
  • 1 nighttime APP
• ICU Model: Open ICU intensivists and ICU physicians available
• Clinical Support: APPs respond to and assist with codes

Position Overview

The night APP serves as an integrated member of the hospital medicine team, managing inpatient floor needs and partnering with the nocturnist on admissions. This role offers a mix of clinical autonomy, collaborative decision-making, and access to subspecialty support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage non-critical floor calls during the night
• Complete up to 4 admissions, divided with the nocturnist
• Assist and respond to codes
• Collaborate with onsite specialty services, including:
  • Anesthesia (procedures and code support)
  • ICU team available overnight
  • Subspecialty services
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR (training provided)
• Participate in teaching opportunities for APP students
