Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and weekend/holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Position is for the Med/Surg Telemetry unit with floating required within MS Tele units
• Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:5 to 1:6, with occasional 1:7
• The schedule includes a 48-hour work week option
• Required to work every other weekend and alternating holidays
• Uses Cerner EMR, with prior Cerner experience preferred
• Responsibilities include caring for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Holiday and weekend rotation is required for all staff
• May be required to float within Med/Surg Telemetry units depending on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
