RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirements
• Float as needed to other units
• 2+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have experience with post CV surgeries, post stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), BiPAPs, utilizing Airvos, and ability to recognize deteriorating patients
• ICU experience preferred
• Care for post-op, CV, neuro, full stroke, respiratory, stepdown, and ICU patients
• 16-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratios
• Work with Philips bedside monitors and EPIC EMR system
• Dress code requires black scrubs with no hoodies allowed
• Team-oriented work environment
