Sign-on opportunity at a major regional health system with full-time MRI role and ARRT pathway. MR Technologist I; full-time, on-site at Novant Health East Cooper Medical Center in SC; permanent hospital position. - ARRT registration in MR or ability to obtain RT(R)(MR)/RT(MR) within 6 months - Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or MR program (Assoc. degree preferred) - Applicable state license - Minimum ~1 year MR experience preferred - Life support training per policy

Novant Health East Cooper Medical Center is seeking a Fulltime MRI Tech!

The MR Technologist I will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR, required.
  • Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
