Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation required
• Float to medical surgical floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower
• Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 6:1)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Skills include isolation precautions, med/surg care, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, starting and maintaining IVs
• Work with adult patient population
• Scrub color requirement: solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• Charting system: EPIC
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodations require manager approval
• Hurricane season response team assignment may be required (June-November)
