The Chief Medical Officer at a community medical center in Sonoma County oversees all medical services, collaborates with the CEO and multidisciplinary teams, and organizes clinical programs to serve a diverse patient population. The role involves healthcare service planning, staff hiring decisions, technology advising, and operational coordination within a primary care and behavioral health setting. Candidates must be board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine, hold a California medical license, have active DEA registration, and current BLS certification.
A highly-rated community medical center located in Sonoma County is in search of a Chief Medical Officer. - Setting: Chief Medical Officer for small, community medical center in Cloverdale, CA (30 minutes from Santa Rosa) to provide care for patient population of Sonoma County
- Duties:
- responsible for overall medical services at health center
- able to work cooperatively and effectively with CEO using a balanced approach to include perspectives from all disciplines in health services
- Healthcare Service and Planning, Organize clinical programs for community
- Assist in personnel decisions for development and/or hiring staff
- Advise on Technology for medical center
- Coordinate various operational meetings and processes
- responsible for overall medical services at health center
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours each week
- Start: within 30 days
- Must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Must have California license in good standing
- Must have active and unrestricted DEA
- Must have current and valid BLS - or willing to obtain
- Competitive pay (negotiable) - receive a paycheck weekly
- If not based locally, travel/lodging assistance may be covered
- 100% of malpractice insurance covered
