RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Patient ratios: PICU 1 RN to 1-2 patients; Stepdown 1 RN to 2-3 patients
• In a 6-week schedule, must work 3 weekends
• Self-scheduling available
• Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
• 1 year PICU experience required
• PALS certification required
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Work with Alaris pumps
• Dress code: All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops
• Perform procedures including IV starts, catheterizations, holding for lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
• HUC works 9 AM to 9 PM; tech is shared with PICU
• Access to all policies available on intranet
