Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for an Emergency Department role requiring an active MA RN license and current AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Primarily night shifts with a rotating 36-hour schedule
• 13-week contract assignment
• EPIC is used for charting and documentation
• Must have own transportation to the facility
• Shared staff housing available; no pets or guests permitted
• Parking may incur costs and is not validated
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be expected per unit needs
• RTO (requested time off) must be noted at the time of consideration
• Permanent local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Proof of current influenza vaccination required
• Primary source license verification through NURSYS and BON required
• COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
