- Provide coverage for interventional radiology needs and stroke-related imaging.
- Primary Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tubes, suprapubic catheters, CT/US-guided biopsies, and lumbar punctures.
- Imaging Duties: Stroke CTs, ICU, and ED imaging studies. Daily studies include CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI.
- Studies per Day: Approximately 50 studies, including:
- CTs: 15-20
- X-rays: 15-20
- Ultrasounds: 10
- MRIs: 5
- IR Procedures: 5-8
- Support Staff: Diagnostic imaging nurses and radiology techs on-site
- EMR System: Cerner
- Documentation Needed: Updated CV, provider's NPI or license number, availability, and malpractice history.
