Seeking a Qualified and Experienced Hospitalist

Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Internal Medicine physician seeking a challenging locum tenens opportunity? We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near Palm Beach, FL. This three-month position is available starting ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse adult patient population with a variety of medical conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop effective treatment plans.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient care throughout their hospitalization, including medication management, monitoring vital signs, and addressing any complications.
• Educate and empower patients and their families regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and expected recovery process.
• Document medical records accurately and efficiently within the designated electronic medical record system.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hospital medicine and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Florida (FL) medical license is required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital medicine setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in internal medicine.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
