The Seasonal Equipment Operator is responsible for operating warehouse equipment such as order pickers and reach trucks to efficiently pick and manage orders during the peak season. The role requires working at heights, lifting heavy products, and monitoring inventory accuracy within a warehouse environment. This position offers competitive pay, bonuses, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Wayfair's logistics operations.
Competitive Hourly Wage: Starting at $23.75 per hour.
Peak Performance Bonus: Earn an extra $400 bonus for successfully completing the peak season Oct 19-Dec 13.
Bonus eligibility requires successful attendance and performance throughout the defined peak period.
- Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm
- Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm
Mon-Fri 5pm-1:30am

- Operate Order Pickers (Cherry Picker), Reach Trucks, and Scanning equipment technology to locate and pick orders through the Warehouse Management System
- Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that all orders have been received properly and that detailed descriptions are provided for any Overage/Shortage/Damage issues
- Accurately identify units for storage or shipment
- Work at heights of 30ft and repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 6 months reach truck or cherry picker experience. Must be comfortable with heights (30 ft.)
- Comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving product 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift
- Able to read and speak English for safety
