Dermatologist Perm Placement Jackson, MI
Henry Ford Medical Center - Cascade Ridge is actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Jackson, Michigan. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a newly renovated medical facility dedicated to providing comprehensive dermatological care to diverse patient populations, including men, women, and children.
Position Overview:
- Practice Setting: Outpatient clinics within a Level 2 trauma-capable facility.
- Start Date: As soon as possible, with up to 90 days for credentialing and onboarding.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, offering a flexible schedule with a minimum of 36 direct patient contact hours weekly, complemented by 4 administrative hours.
- Patient Volume & Procedures: Providers typically see 4-5 patients per hour, with about 80% of visits involving procedures. Common procedures include skin tag removal, biopsies for skin cancer, and other medical dermatology interventions. The practice focuses on 90% medical dermatology and 10% cosmetic dermatology, with potential for expanding cosmetic services if desired.
- Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions.
- Perform medical procedures efficiently within a high-volume setting.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR system.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and quality standards.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within one year of residency, with certification achieved within three years).
- Current DEA certification.
- Valid medical license for the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, procedure-rich environment.
- Must be willing to work within a practice that values work-life balance.

Additional Requirements:
- No candidates with lapsed certifications or seeking multiple jobs that require lengthy commutes will be considered.
