Seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for full-time or part-time locum tenens work at a Level II trauma hospital in Pennsylvania. The role involves performing advanced image-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainages, embolizations, and line placements with no general radiology reading required. Candidates must have an active Pennsylvania medical license, DEA, and CSR with at least one year of post-training experience.
Location: Pennsylvania Hospital Size: Trauma Level II Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time About the Opportunity: We are seeking skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiologists to join our growing team. This dynamic role offers a diverse case mix and the opportunity to provide advanced interventional procedures in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art technology. Opportunity Highlights: Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM Call: 1 2 weeknights per month, 5 PM 8 AM (No weekends required) Minimum Availability Required: One full week per month (Mon Fri) Privileges: Full and Temporary Available (60-day credentialing process) Scope of Work: Procedures in IR, CT, and Ultrasound No general radiology reads All readings handled by contracted radiology group Typical Procedures Include: Biopsies (Lung, Liver, Thyroid, Bone Marrow, Renal) Drainage (Abscess, Biliary, Nephrostomy) Embolizations (Chemo, Uterine Fibroid, Pelvic) TIPS, Kyphoplasty/Vertebroplasty, Venous/Arterial Interventions Line placements: PICC, Ports, Tunneled lines Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Lumbar Puncture, IVC Filter Requirements: Board Certification: Required (MD or DO) Licensure: Active Pennsylvania Medical License + DEA + CSR Experience: Minimum 1 year post-training DEA & CSR: Required Ready to elevate your career in Interventional Radiology?
