Level I Trauma Center with high-volume urology caseload and 24-hour call shifts. Locum BC UroHospitalist; 24-hour shifts (6a–6a) covering weekends in South Carolina, permanent opening one hour from Columbia; inpatient rounding, consults, procedures; dates available Nov 24–Dec 1 and Dec 11–12, 2025. - Board-certified/board-eligible Urologist
- SC medical license
- Current DEA and CSR
- Comfortable with open/trauma urologic procedures (gunshot/stab wounds, bladder/renal/testicular repairs)
- Experience with common endourology and inpatient urologic procedures

Seeking a locum BC UroHospitalist
2025 Dates Available: (6a-6a)
November 24-December 1
December 11-December 12
24- Hour Call Coverage included
Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon
Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also
Standard urology procedures include: stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.
MUST be comfortable with trauma/open procedures ? i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.
