The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides competent, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. The role involves ensuring patient safety, supporting the healthcare team, and adhering to facility standards. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and Stroke, and most recently, coronary artery disease.
Additionally, Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services such as behavioral health (Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health), emergency medical care (main hospital and ER at Sweetwater), orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services (Hitchcock Rehabilitation Services), imaging, and wound care.

The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Qualifications
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
New graduates are encouraged to apply in their final semester of nursing school before graduation.
Current license to practice nursing in South Carolina.
BLS and ACLS certifications required. Successful completion of CPI training during orientation.
