Opportunity:
Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology
Job Details:
• Work 4x10-hour shifts between 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Must be available to stay until last patient is cared for
• No call requirements
• No holiday requirements
• Floating as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience required
• Must maintain tobacco and fragrance-free environment
• Maximum 7 days RTO preferred
• Complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules which are billable
• Skills include accurate monitoring, cardiac ablation, electrophysiology procedures, equipment setup, fluoroscopy, pacemaker insertion, EKG lead placement, sterile technique, and vascular closure systems
• Work in invasive cardiology unit with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs
• Assist with complex cardiovascular procedures including coronary procedures, structural heart procedures, ablations, and device implantations
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a comprehensive invasive cardiology unit with 4 dedicated cardiac catheterization labs, 3 dedicated electrophysiology labs, and 2 shared cath/EP labs, along with 33 prep/recovery bays. The facility completes over 6,000 procedures annually and offers advanced cardiovascular treatments including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist devices, structural heart procedures, complex ablations, and various cardiovascular interventions. The organization maintains high clinical standards and requires thorough screening processes for all healthcare professionals.
