Primary Location Aspirus Merrill Hospital
• Shift Requirements: Day/Noc Variables 12 hr shifts-
• Float Requirements: as needed to like units. Aspirus Wausau, Aspirus Langlade, Aspirus Medford, and Aspirus Stanley.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS. ACLS preferred
• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• Charting Experience: EPIC required
• Unit Information MS Unit : days 0700-1930 4-5 nurse patient ratio, and 2300-0700 typically 1:6-8 nurse patient ratio. The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses treated: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
• Desired skillset: Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
