This role involves close collaboration with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver advanced cancer treatments using innovative technologies. Candidates must have specialized certifications and experience in therapeutic medical physics and be licensed in Ohio.

As a member of the oncology team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing radiation treatment plans, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain and execute the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Program.
- Implement, manage, and maintain all medical physics QA equipment.
- Coordinate with alternate physicists for full clinic coverage.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists for safe patient treatments.
- Administer and maintain all physics-related software systems.
- Perform daily, monthly, and annual QA testing on linear accelerators and simulators.
- Oversee dosimetry operations and ensure continuity of care.
- Be present for high-dose treatments as determined by the radiation oncologist.
- Commission and maintain HyperArc and stereotactic systems.
- Conduct weekly patient chart reviews and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage physics testing, credentialing, and participation in relevant protocols.
- Master of Science degree in physics, biophysics, medical physics, radiological physics, nuclear engineering or health physics - REQUIRED
- Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics - REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3+ years experience - REQUIRED
- Copy of most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- Certified Radiation Expert (CRE) certification through the state of Ohio - REQUIRED
- Cannot accept visa candidates
- State License: Ohio
- Board Certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics
- Certified Radiation Expert (CRE) in the state of Ohio
