Leidos’ Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a talented Production Control Planner Scheduler to join our team located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be planning and managing timelines and will maintain a production schedule for assigned programs.

Primary Responsibilities
Planning and managing timelines for manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.
Manage order demand for assigned programs within CostPoint (Inventory Reservations CMR, or MRP).
Maintain a 6 week production schedule for assigned programs using Microsoft Project and Deltek Cost Point.
Interact with internal departments to coordinate execution of production schedule.
Print Manufacturing Orders in support of production schedule.
Create and track Purchase Order delivery schedule.
Conduct status meetings with internal and external customers.
Perform capacity analysis for required equipment and coordinate its use.
Work continually to drive improvements to on time delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business with at least 4 years in a production planning role with use of an EPR system (CostPoint Preferred). Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience in using an MES.
Previous experience using Microsoft Project.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-4 years experience.
A working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
Experience using Solumina MES.
Prior experience with multi-resource scheduling (Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus).
Active Secret clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
