RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position on 10th floor with 20-bed capacity
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio
• Work with high-acuity cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: ACLS
• PCU experience and cardiac experience required
• Must be competent with drips including heparin, tikosyn, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, and ketamine
• Work with equipment including telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, chest tubes, Foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, and SCD pumps
• Perform procedures such as chest tube placement and removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Work alongside RNs and PCTs in collaborative team environment
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs
• Must demonstrate high energy and excellent team-player qualities
