Ongoing Cardiology coverage needed in Northern California with light call and scenic lakeside setting.
Highlights
- Weekday-only schedule; no weekends
- 1:2 call rotation; phone consults only, rare call-backs
- California license not required to start; will wait
- Option to convert to permanent after 6 months
Practice Setting
- 25-bed critical access hospital near Clear Lake
- Mix of clinic and inpatient cardiology
- Supported by RNs, MAs, echo techs, and hospitalists
- Epic EMR
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8a-5p
- Call is phone-based and infrequent
- Long-term locums; ideal for providers open to consistent coverage
Cases and Procedures
- General cardiology, CHF, arrhythmia, HTN
- ECHO reads, TEE, pacemaker supervision (no implants)
- ~19 patients/day; 25% inpatient volume
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years)
- ACLS, BLS, DEA required
- California license or IMLC; or willingness to obtain
Travel Accommodations
