Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide comprehensive nursing care within a telemetry unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, responding to health changes, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement effective care plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to individuals in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry data.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care options and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License in hand at time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active.
• One reference from a supervisory individual in the specialty applying for required.
