This position is for a Home Health Aide (HHA) in New Mexico responsible for providing basic care and social-emotional support to patients while assisting nurses with vital patient information. QUALIFICATIONS Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have an outgoing personality, the ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, remain calm in stressful situations, and be able to give patients the essential social and emotional support, along with providing vital information on patient conditions to nurses. Physical requirements for this position include; ability to sit, stand, bend, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel and balance occasionally and/or frequently. Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull greater than fifty pounds.
