The Gastroenterology Physician position involves performing specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopy, ERCP, and esophageal manometry. The role requires board certification in gastroenterology, active medical licensure in Washington State or IMLC acceptance, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Primary responsibilities include patient evaluation and treatment during clinical shifts using the Epic EMR system, handling 5 patients per shift with various gastroenterological procedures.
Shift: clinical hours only

Patient Per Shift: 5 per shift
Requirements:
- Board Status: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active WA State License or IMLC accepted.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Key Details:
- Upper GI Endoscopy with Biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) required
- ERCP Diagnostic required
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry required
- Esophageal manometry interpretation required
- Small Bowel biopsy required
- Lower GI endoscopy required
- Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible) required
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of the polyp required
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is required
